SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Was founded in 1515 at the southern end of Cuba. To  the north is Holguin, east Guantanamo, south the Caribbean and west Granma. It is the second largest city in Cuba with a population of about one million and is the most Caribbean city of Cuba. More relaxed than Havana.
It  was the birthplace of the Cuban Revolution.
 Locals ( Santiagueros) are hospitable, friendly and warm: more  like country than city people and this big country town atmosphere is  the  tradition and pride of the city.
It was the birthplace to the greatest son singers such as Compay Segundo and Eliades Ochoa. The history of this city is huge and everywhere you go, you will be most impressed with the findings in this historical city. Santiago de Cuba is an unforgettable experience.
